C.H. Mackellar Necklace

Jewelry designer Christine Mackellar creates each piece manipulating metal directly to create wearable art. The key technique of the work is the fusing of high karat gold to sterling silver. The surface of the medal is textured using hammers, punches, and the rolling mill.
This artistic necklace is made up of 22kt gold sheets combined with sterling silver and has a fresh water pearl set inside. The sterling chain is an Italian mesh design. The chain measures 16 inches end to end.
